Has anyone here tried to fit one? Is it an engine out job or can it be done in situ? Can it be adjusted or is it automatic? Tis a mk1.any answers gratefully recieved * +

I ant done 1 but u should b able 2 leave engine in an just take gearbox off * +

Well i know thats standard procedure for a 2wd.ive done a couple of them.ive rung a couple of places now for a price and both have said sorry mate dont do ravs,but wont tell me why.im starting to worry lol.my bite point is at top of pedal and other week i had a bit of slip when trying to boot it from low rpm in top gear.the weather was freezing and car was stone cold,maybe that had something to do * +

With it as it hasnt happened since and i completed a 600 mile round trid over new year with no problems.maybe im just being paranoid * +

Hey paul! Ive spoke to my toyota contact in cpt nd he says ther nuthin funny to doin a mk1 rav4's clutch. Its a straight forward gearbox out job. * +
