They any good for off road use? Nothing heavy, just the occasional dirt track or muddy field. * +

no good with standard tyres-junk the low profiles and fit ones with deeper tread at the expense of on road grip * +

Not ideal fproff road. They are designed on the saloon and drive like it. Something like the toureg is better than the bm for off road but then a defender is even better * +

Forget the snow, they ain't any cop in that either. To be fair many 4x4's and SUV's are cr*p in off road and harsh conditions as many of my friends found out when the snow fell not so long ago and they couldn't get up the hill to where we stay * +

I nearly bought a X3 3.5 x drive however, 0-62 in 6.4 seconds and could shift. Lost half it's value in a year which was sore and it felt like it was going to fall over on corners! * +
