Its a 2013 dodge challenger .recently I have noticed in some rpm range a very loud whistle is heard from motor.my guess is it originates from turbo. Is it bad sign? No other issues are observed no drop of power or no bad smoke. * +

That's a symptom of either a vacuum leak or that your turbocharger needs lubrication. If it is the turbocharger, you got problems. * +

I checked up with some mechanics who work on modern cars and they said it could be the bearings going bad. * +

Think turbocharger rebuild. I am not sure if it has anything to do with the cool air intake unless you used to much force while installing it. * +
