Educate me lol. Would an automatic guzzle more fuel than a manual car? i know it depends on how you drive and stuff but generally how does it work out? i drove my friends clio the other day-its an automatic but didn't like it at all * +

Good 4 him tho cuz he's a new driver and forbids me from speaking or playing music in his car or it makes him nervous lol. U can imagine what a fun ride it is Lol * +

Autos will use more fuel they are heavier cars for a start and although they change gear at a suitable point depending on driving style they can sometimes sit higher in the revvs before changing unlike a manual where you would have already changed gear * +

also dont auto gearboxes weigh heaps more than manual? id rather manual even if it costs more fuel, because you can actuallly feel your driving, especially in an older model car * +

Yeah driving the automatic felt so odd for me and i didn't like the way it picked up speed, just felt slow even though i'm not a fast driver * +
