hey folks,just seeking stories and opinions on what you own or would like to have...i'm looking to upgrade from 09' ktm 250exc,to a 450 four stroke,my choices are between the husqvarna te,yamaha wr or maybe another ktm...just maybe. So,if this topic is relevant to you,please share some info,good points,problems etc.cheers * +

you have any probs with the pds shock? I blew mine up after 10months,i bought the bike brand new,other problems i had was a leaking water pump seal which made the oil milky,that was fixed under warranty,and the starter motor chewed out after 6months,725 au for a replacement one... i love the motor,handling,ergos and the look of them,maybe i just got a bit of a dud one... * +

also considering 2010 300exc but that starter motor...i'd probably get one straight away if it was kickstart only. * +

yeah i know it's not needed because they start so easy anyway,but it's a nice addition,if only the actual starter motor was a better unit. Im taking a half day off tomorrow to check out the huskys and yamahas tomorrow,if the 09 crf450x was based on the new 'R' chassis,i'd be getting one of those for sure. We'll see what the 2010 model looks like... * +
