So Pugeot are releasing the RCZ in 2010 as a cheaper alternative to the Audi TT and I have to say it looks great! They've also got some cracking engines including a 1.6 engine designed with BMW 1 with 163hp and the other with 200hp giving performance and economy. Shame I can't get a pic on here. Look up 4car and you'll find it there. Just a shame it's French * +

Based on 308 underpinnings, the RCZ suspension has been tuned for 'driving enjoyment' in mind with the Coupe boasting a 20mm lower ride height than the hatch with a wider front and rear track for more grip. The RCZ goes on sale in spring 2010 with prices for the most expensive version expected to peak at around 25,000. * +

Two engines will be offered, a 163bhp 2.0-litre HDI engine that helps the sporty RCZ average a fine 52.3mpg and emit 139g/km of CO2, while on the petrol side there are two versions of the PSA/BMW co-developed 1.6 turbo with the choice of either 156bhp or 200bhp. The lower power variant is available with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic. * +
