Had a massive blow against the ground the other day screen side took the impact. I thought now its cracked for sure as i dont have a protector only a millimetre corner from my leather back but it survived. I was suprised it did not break. The flat hit made some dust come up and sounded loud * +

seen a few videos by this New York tech repair guy. apple just swap whole mother boards or clusters of components even if it's just a 50p fix, then they charge you half the price of the item to do it if it's not in warranty.
really put me off * +
