Makes you wonder why the battery is having to work so much harder. Sounds like data collection to me.
Mine's the same. It's a Redmi Note 9 with a battery over half an amp hour. Huge battery for it's time.
After the last update I found it'd switched on geo-tagging photos. I've fully had enough of that security issue. * +
