get yourself a half decent 2nd hand android. as long as it was a good seller there be a community dedicated to keeping it alive over on xda forums.

that place is so influential that google takes the best mods from there and incorporates them into android itself.

phones from 2009 are running the latest versions of android because of community support. you'll love it. *
