i got one of these yesterday and regret doing so as i have tried hooking my netbook up to it and when i do nothing happens///it doesnt even ask for the right drivers nothing happens? anyone got 1? * +

Think you have to sync it via the HTC site. Thats what my wife had to do with her Legend. * +

my laptop recognized the desire without any htc app installed. but install first the pc sync app and try again. oh and congrats for the new phone :) * +

does the desire have a usb debugging mode?....if so, turn it off....had the same prob with my x10 mini pro at first, laptop wouldnt recognise it, turned that off and voila... * +

im new to android and aint got a clue what it is lol and cheers stef couldnt afford the desire so got this....only thing that annoys me is the web browser having to zoom in on every page.. * +

read all the gumph that comes with it our la55 got 1 yesterday and on the preinstalled mem card theres a htc driver.exe file which u need to install to ur pc manc its got instructions in little manual that came with it * +
