what do people reckon off it and do you think google services will come back or is it a united states trying to stay ontop of tech development as its clear china is overtaking in development and phone specs better than any other phones * +

I doubt it will get Google Services, it may be years before that happens. I would avoid the P50, its a step back from P40 Pro and Mate 40 Pro. Due to the banning of Huawei the P50 uses a Snapdragon 888 and not the super efficient Kirin 5G chips Huawei developed due to them being barred from using some of the tech to work on their chipsets. Youd rather get a Mate 40 Pro or P40 Pro Plus if you want a top Huawei.

I currently have a Mate Xs 2 foldable, also uses the Snapdragon and it it heats up a lot unlike my Mate 40 Pro thats based on the Kirin 9000 5G which runs cool constantly even with heavy camera and 5G usage.

My main daily driver phone is a iPhone 13 Pro Max so at least I can enjoy the Huaweis without Google as I can use Google services on my iPhone, but I would not recommend getting a P50 or any Huawei if you are highly reliant on Google services. If you are not highly reliant on Google services then get a Mate 40 Pro. * +

the bootloader on Huawei phones can't be unlocked so there won't even be the chance of replacing the stock rom with one that does have google services.
there are maybe some alternative apps from the open source community that could replace the google ones. not having play services will be great for your battery life on the plus side. * +

It's the USA failing slowly, if you can't beat your enemy fairly, then you use your power and authority to rig the system so you remain on top... Very common tactic in African politics, but once you have to engage in such tactics its clear you know your days are numbered... So fingers crossed that Meta and Apple collapse, then the US would have no choice but to engage internationally again... * +
