Yes the 1610 only had incoming SMS. I got the 6600 at launch really nice phone that would love to get hold of one now. The only thing missing was 3G but unfortunately we didnt get that from Nokia untill the 6630 in the Uk, which was a while after those clunky NEC 3G phones from the Three network! Mind you the NEC 606 was a good with the high capacity battery.

Must have been a early soft on it or something. Both my 1610 nokias have sms sending also. The 2110 was the phone back then tho. Have 2 of those also in my collection. Both still turn on. Batteries still keep juice in some of them. Something for todays manufacturers to learn from *
