use an app like disable service or the inbuilt running services tab in developer options to see what processes you can disable without effecting the apps basic functions.

or you could try an adblocker or an app adblocker like minminguard if you have exposed.
there are modded apks out there but I'd be wary of using them if the file size is very different from the original app.
