What a mission it was to root this phone. Its on KitKat 4.4.4 stock firmware.
That app not working.. keeps saying no mass storage gadget or fuse even though there is an external card * +

you should of been able to just use towelroot on kitkat. other than suggesting you read a good chunk of the beginning and end of the topic. if you see nothing too helpful posting your problem in the thread might get you some help. it's still active in there based on the date of the last post. * +

Change the usb cable. The cable you are using is most probably faulty. It will show that option with a good cable. * +
