Details are scetchy, but it is rumoured to come out in April 2017. 6gb ram, 256 gb internal storage. No details on camera or chip it will be utilising. That begs the question, how far do they really want to go with smartphones?.... * +

When i switched from blackberry to android, i chose the S5, it suits my needs just fine, 18mp camera etc. It also feels a bit more solid than the rest, im not going into specs, but im happy with my choice..... * +

In terms of chip it will probably use the Snapdragon 821 or 835 into the USA and Exynos 8895 Internationally. I doubt it will have 256GB, probably will have 64GB plus Memory card slot. There was also talk of Iris Scanner (a la Note 7), USB Type -C, and Edge only variant, so no S8 Flat. * +
