Gary Sims from AA does another video testing the most common SoC's (System on a Chip, where everything on a phone is built into one chip rather than separate parts you'd see in other systems) of 2016 against each other and against a couple from last year, and finally compared to apples a10

arguments for real world performance aside these results showed some big surprises in places.

Great comparison, that Huawei Kirin 960 is a beast! Should set the benchmark for 2017 SoCs. The Samsung Exynos 8890 did exceptionally well despite being the oldest of the 2016 SoCs.

True to Qualcomm fashion, the 820/821 have beastly GPUs, but I am a tad disappointed the 821 seems to be just a higher BIN 820 * +

The Snapdragon 835 is 35 per cent smaller than its predecessor, the Snapdragon 820, consumes 25 per cent less power and 25 per cent faster 3D graphics. The chipset comes armed with a X16 LTE modem and interestingly it is the first to support Windows 10 plus Win32 apps. Devices shipping with this latest chip are expected to ship from the first half of 2017. * +
