it's actually AOSP android open source project...
I heard something about this browser and it being replaced in the github of a rom that I follow. I'm sketchy on the details, chances are that [u]android system webview[/u] is involved so you could try and update or install that.

I'd also look in the AOSP browser and note down it's version number (usually found in the ''settings / about'' section), and google that version of the AOSP browser to see if there's an update or fix.

there are so many good third party browsers out there that there's no reason not to download something else and disable the AOSP one so it's not taking up processor or ram space. *
