So it came down to S7 Edge and LG V20, I nearly pulled the trigger on the LG until I saw all the poor battery life posts, seems the 3200mAh battery isn't enough, so the S7 Edge had to do, and so far I am loving it grin.gif so much faster and smoother than my Note 4, and finally back on a Exynos Samsung, the buttery smoothness of the UI and far less heating up made it all worth it. Put my 128GB MicroSD in and used the USB-OTG USB Connector Samsung put in the S7E box to do a quick transfer of all data to it, took 5mins and boom! Loving this beast so far, the Finger Print Scanner is so much quicker and a lot more accurate, this will be a great device until the Note 8 arrives for me.

congrats, I hope you don't say that it's just a stop gap around the S7 without covering it's microphone openings first. * +

Yep, I was expecting a lot more from Huawei, yet they use the same ol' HD1080P panel, the Kirin SoC is not exactly well supported by devs and its made using the older larger 16nm process, unlike the Exynos in the S7, made using the smaller and more efficient 14nm FinFet process. The Mate9 also doesn't seem to have IP68 Water and Dust resistance.

I'm sure it will be a great device, but its still lacking in some areas. * +

1st full discharge of my S7 Edge resulted in 7.5hours SOT, simply amazing. Check screenshots below. At the moment I'm doing the 2nd discharge, been using the phone heavily and its now 8:46pm, STILL have 47percent battery, it won't be anywhere near dead when I go to bed at 11pm. Anyway here are the results from yesterday:
