if you're running underclocked still it will be much more jittery. I got myself a cheap HTC m8 a few weeks back and I do all my gaming on that now so I can leave my s4 underclocked. it's good for pretty much everything except games at that speed.

-+BB+- mentioned that all nougat users are reporting that battery life is down compared to MM so we'll have to wait on google for any improvements.

Mate, congrats on the M8! Some would say that was the best HTC before the M10, the M9 was a major flop due to Snapdragon 810 heating problems. Enjoy it! Lovely phones those HTCs, built like tanks. * +

You very lucky, it was the 1st Snapdragon 810 device that confirmed the heat issues. Htc to release updates to heavily throttle the SoC to reduce the heat. * +
