Although the charger stops charging overnight when the battery is fully charged, the electrical current can still heat the battery on some devices according to my computer magazine. Its recommended to run the battery flat perhaps once every three months to calibrate it otherwise top up charges are better for lithion ion cells all according to my magazine. *
