have you installed lots of stuff in the last year ? stuff like facebook is notorious for resource hogging.
the more apps you install the more shiit you've got running in the background chomping away on your battery.
if I had a decent new phone I'd be removing as many of the stock apps as can be safely done if I'm never gonna use them. but you know what that takes... root baby root !

say to Bixby... to Knox and any other crap taking up clock and battery time.

Nah, I've got less apps installed than I had back then. It's either a degraded battery or something they did in a fw upgrade or app update. Same with Oli who also has the s8+ *
