Thanks but my case is unique.My phone is with police but am allowed to access the phonebook.Is there an app i can install to perform the reset during the time am accessing the phonebk? * +

And more importantly, what is in your phone that you need to erase it? If its Call and Messaging Records, I can assure you a reset won't help as they can always go to your network provider and get everything they need. * +
