Which trusted app can i use to monitor what my phone is doing in the background, im sure something is connecting to the Internet while im not using it, ive disabled nearly all of the usual rubbish which comes with the phone but i can still see it is up and downloading stuff *

Does one need to root for that?
I have disabled system update, my my android os keeps downloading something in background.
Just switched from Symbian to android in January.
Until yesterday I didn't knew how to clear download history. *

Try checking your Data Usage, that should show what's using how much. Also, having autosync on will gave that effect as apps are constantly checking for updates *
