just seen a thread on xda for getting invites to a trial for the much awaited whatsapp calls feature.
it only works with a specific version of the app downloadable from [link]HERE:http://www.whatsapp.com/android/[/link] and then messaging the thread author with a specific message which I'm not going to share (or for that matter the thread on xda) at least not until I've secured my own invitation..
if you know how to use google I'm sure you'll be able to find it yourselves.
I will report back on my progress and with any info regarding my success or otherwise... * +

actually after more reading it seems you need only receive a call from someone with calls activated once you have the correct version... * +
