I only sold my note 3 cos I couldnt see the point in having two large phones. Plus it helped to pay for the note 4. I can justify my s5 cos thats in a different category and also nice to have a smaller phone too. The lg g3 seems to suffer a bit on benchmarks as one member pointed out, maybe cos of its display. But it hasnt made a dramatic impact on the note 4 with its newer chipset. Have you tried the UV sensor yet? See we dont get a whole lot of sun in the uk this time of the year lol * +

Yeah LG G3 has a Snapdragon 801, which is essentially a higher bin S800, so same Krait400 cores just clocked higher and same Adreno330 also with a slight clock tweak, while the Note 4 has a Snapdragon 805 with 20percent more efficient and more powerful Krait450 cores and new Adreno420 GPU that has 40percent more power than the 330 and incredible mem bandwidth, so its able to run the QHD display more efficiently and smoother than the G3. The S805 also brings a separate Image and video processor and it supports H.265 decoding which the S800/801 lack.

I said it many many times that the G3 would suffer pairing a S801 with a QHD display, and now look. A colleague of mine has the G3 32GB with 3GB of RAM, its nice but you notice micro-lag here and there, I can't imagine what the 2GB RAM G3 is like. * +

thats probably why samsung didnt stick a quad display on the S5. although iam told there is a quad hd version of the S5 in korea. Not sure what soc it runs on, but you may know? * +

It runs on the S805 like the Note 4, Samsung did a great job in avoiding a bad situation with the S5. There is now the S5 Plus, which has the S805, it was announced 2days ago. * +

The g3 suffers overheating in the benchmarks which pulls down the clockspeed. Ive seen 2gb versions giving higher scores tough for some reason in benchmarks lol.gif The ram amount has nothing to do with the ui lags the unoptimised software is the reason it lags on the older fw versions it ended in v10j where lg took away the 30fps cap and now runs 60fps. * +
