so, they would type in their wifi password on my phone, I need to save it somehow or make it visible to me so I can use the wifi later without having to ask them again, any apps or tricks? lol * +

just don't delete it for_sure.gif the phone saves all details of used connections...
when you come back later and scan for connections, it will offer you their Wi-Fi first as it has the details and is in range... * +

but I can't make it visible to me after they have typed it in, can I? * +

do you really need to have it visible if you've already got it saved ?
you can set passwords to show across the phone if you want..
or you could save Wi-Fi access points with titanium backup and transfer the file to another device.. * +

If you are Rooted there is a way to make Passwords visible e.g. if you want to use the wifi again with another device. You'll need to get Wanam Installer and install Wanam Xposed Framework, there's a Wanam Module that allows making saved passwords visible. * +

I can't remember, just type in Wifi password in the search bar in Wanam, shouldn't be hard to find. * +
