I've tried a heap of extended batteries and they've all been total cr*p, i must say though, that these zerolemons are pretty good. I've had one on my S4 for over a year now and it still lasts for days and days even with heavy usage. Just thought I'd mention it in case anyone's considering it but has yet to pull the trigger. It adds heft, but it's actually still pretty comfortable and makes the phone feel stronger. * +

the one that comes with it isn't bad at all though. i usually go for the TPU wrap cases for the back of the phone anyway so this is pretty much the same thing. charges overnight like a standard battery, and the samsung rapid charging bizzo seems to work with it too (the rapid charging you only get if you use the white charger that came with the phone). I get two and a half days under heavy usage and about 5 days if I'm not so heavy on it. It'll sit on 1 for like an hour before it crashes out *
