Subject: S3 stuck on Samsung logo?

When I switch my S3 on it gets stuck at the Samsung logo and won't boot up. It does eventually come on but after about ten to twenty attempts. What's up with it? I'm 3 weeks away from getting an S5! * +

And yes I remove the battery and wait a while but doesn't seem to help. * +

if you've done nothing special with it recently then it could be an intermittent hardware fault.

I cleared cached app data. I had over 2gb of it! My phone ran faster afterwards but now this is happening. It used to do it very occasionally before, even when I first got it but it was never a problem. * +

Factory reset is the only thing for it. Took me 2 and a half hours to switch it on earlier. Used 35 per cent battery as well! Powering up a phone really canes the battery it seems. b****rd thing is i'm gonna lose a lot of stuff after the factory reset. Most of it's backed up but it's gonna take ages to get it back resembling how it was. * +

TB pro will do a selected batch restore for you if you've being using the non pro version.. do recovery and download mode work ok ? * +

Yeah I have to go into recovery mode to factory reset it. * +
