kies is so unreliable anyway, it can be a real pain in the arse. I only use kies to keep things official, although experimenting sounds interesting, you would soon loose that interest if you couldnt restore your phone from a crash. samsung wont want to know if you havnt used their software, so warranty issue.

Hope they do an Official release of this for the S3 LTE someone did port over the 1st 4.1.2 build n it was ok i just prefer to stick to Custom Roms build of fw released for the device * +
