An update on the Google vs. Oracle lawsuit: Oracle continue on their losing streak, they had originaly wantd to claim 6.1billion USD for Google's patent violations with Android from Google, the judge threw that out and set compensation down to a mere 100million USD (pocket change for the big G). Oracle came back and asked for 2billion USD then, and now the judge has postponed trial, and attackd Oracle for their stratospheric claim: http://is.gd/Dw14X7 things just keep on getting better. :) * +

Looking further into it, this is now based on the two remaining patents one of which is already under investigation for maybe being invalid, by not accepting this payment and wanting an injunction Oracle put themselves in quite a awkward position, its going to get very ugly for them. * +
