My dad jst got me an Orange payasugo sim cos network reception on o2 is bad up here. Anyway, wat I wana know is, Do I need to register the sim 2 activate it? I put sim in bt screen was blank. no signal indicator. Id like 2 use it 4 cheapa wap too until I get a Tesco sim. Nearest Tesco is 2 hrs away. My fones a Nokia 3650. * +

Orange sim cards don't normally even have a phone number until you ring them to activate it. Just another point tesco use o2 network so you'll get the same reception with a tesco sim as with o2 * +

Yeah you do need to ring up this freephone number to get the orange sim activated. I bought a sim from the orange shop on friday, and they registered it for me, but when i put the sim in my phone, it came up SIM REGISTRATION FAILED. The bloke in the shop, said it could take up to 24 hours for it to be activated, but was on by time i got home 15 minutes later. * +

You don't have to visit Tesco to buy a sim - you can order one on 0845 900 1010. *
