Those of you that have an interest in mobile telecommunications will know that i-mode is quite old now, but for most people in the Western World, it's the first time they've ever seen it! To the i-mode newbies- what do you think of i-mode, is it a revolution or a complete waste of time? To those familiar with i-mode- do you think they left it too late, or was the Western World's release spot-on? * +

Er got a question for you. You seem to have completely forgotten to say what i-mode is. So if folk haven't don't know what it is how can they possibly make a comment about! madlol * +

I-mode is one of the artificially created steps on the way to *full* mobile internet. Created of course to have people buy new phones, new plans, new services. Personally, I think i-mode is cr*p, since it is a proprietary standard and not even flat-fee. * +

02 have reached an agreement with japanese operator DO CO MO and say they will launch iMODE in the UK at the end of this year. Some Existing Sony Ericsson handsets allready have iMODE browsers * +

i-mode is already available in Australia, but I think it's come too late- many new phones now come with full Internet browsers, so what's the point? The handsets have REALLY bad return rates too... * +
