Not today particularly (in B'ham) but it's been well patchy ever since the 4G came onstream. The change to EE screwed everything up as well, as I used to be able to choose the (nearer) T-Mobile mast by choosing T-Mob over Orange in the 'select network' settings. If you think you're connected to a remote mast; switch off your data connection, switch on Wi-Fi (it'll locate you to within about 30 meters) after about 20 seconds, re-connect to your network (and switch wi-fi off if desired). *

Yeah. Done all that. It has been utterly shocking today. I've rung them up and they say there are no masts down near me so it looks like I'm stuck with it. I did notice at about 1am though the data speed is decent. Obviously the amalgamation with T mobile and the launch of 4g has knackered everything up! *
