are you using a sd adaptor card to enabled you to read this card in your pc ? The card adaptor has a read/write enable tab on the side. * +

right click over the drive propeties/scan and fix, tick scan for bad sectors box and scan. you might lose the offending files but should fix it. * +

send it bck to kingston for replacement....that flash is as go0d as dead....for now there is no software that cn deactivate the write protected problm. Im facin same problm with ma Sandisk 8GB * +
