Imo.. Paid - nod32 or kaspersky, free - mse or avira.. I've been using a combination of nod32 and malwarebytes for my win7 desktop and it's not failed me yet. And I've tried them all, starting with Norton 10 years back. * +

Fluidz, a combination of antivirus software could seriously slow down your comp cz they will be detecting each other as malware. * +
