bet batt pull won't fix that, may have to do a software update or reinstall latest software like Reaper said. do a back up first through Blackberry Desk Top Manager before updating your phone and back up your BBM list to the memory card in your BBM options * +

I think you need to cheack a master reset code for your 8520 bb if you don't get let us knw you will be advised on how to find it *
