switch to a better network, improve the quality of your signal, use wifi, turn off other access point using apps, and dont excessively multitask during the download and convince others on your network not to use their fones while your downloading or do it in the middle of the night. * +

I'm using Opera Mini 6.5 , it downloads most files pretty quick except java applications . For java apps . it quits and launches my phones native browser for the download . it does the same for streaming video . * +
