I use it for transferring files directly to my phone folders. It is slow and not so practical. You have to align the infra red eyes of the phones together to have the phones communicate together by infra red. And so it is clumsy for fast use. Maybe there is a software to use it as tv remote control but i dont think the infra red beam of the phon is so bright to be detected by the tv infra red eye * +

Yah, maumu has a point. The infrared of n0kia 3200 has many uses. It can transfer and receive pictures, tones, notes and reminders. Unlike my 6610 that only transfer and receive calendar n0tes. * +
