Perhaps they factored in usage from before your current goodybag began? Check all the details of the email. I know many customers have said in the giffgaff forums that they've been advised they were on a more expensive goodybag than they needed, so I don't think there's any intent to mislead you. * +

But the prob is if i buy a ten goodybag and run out of minutes within the first week, i would have to wait another 3 just to buy a goodybag again. . . Or just pay full rates until i am allowed to buy a goodybag. Gonna have a look at other networks as this one doesnt seem to be working out very well for me. * +

So what other network payandgo or contract allows you to get a monthly bolt on or tarrif with a set ammount of mins texts or internet and allows you to start another 1 before the month is up? * +

giffgaff's pay and go rates are cheaper than the bundle rates of many networks. Do you call landlines a lot? If so you could put an iCard sim in a spare phone as that's only 1p per min. But I reckon a 20 pound goodybag will work out right for you most months. * +

I never ring landlines and only know 1 person on giffgaff so never really get to make use of the free calls. I was gonna get the 20 bag a few month back but its seems silly paying 20 for 600 min when for an extra 5 pound you get another 900 min. At the moment my usage varies so its hard to pick the right bag. *
