Hi i have an orange 3g sim and f0r 3days i have been gettin connection failed with full signal original browser on lg viewty but i can use opera mini. Why is that? Customer services w0nt pick up * +

Same here orange servers have been overloading thats whats causing problems * +

Same here - Opera Mini uses a proxy server to access the net - if you have auto-connect apps (weather, Activesync etc.) you'll probably notice they're connecting normally, it seems to be the http gateway using Orange's own proxy that's down. On some phones you can get around this by deleting the proxy from your server settings, on mine this isn't possible. * +

Yeah, and Mini will use a LOT less data than a normal browser, although you won't get animations on the cliparts here or elsewhere, and you can't use it to download from cr*pidshare (or anywhere else with a javascript countdown). I didn't get the usual problems last night, although I was in an area with weak GPRS reception so it was difficult to tell. * +

Normal service resumes today, invalid server name, page not found, etc or just no response at all.
