3g/3.5g for heavy downloads and 2g/2.5g for general browsing, Email and lite downloads. * +

If you'll forgive me, that's a rather odd question - a chit like asking whether someone would prefer a million pounds or a thousand pounds 
. 3G is around 4 times faster and therefore it seems unlikely anyone could 'prefer' 2G, but perhaps I'm missing your intended point, in which case my apologies. * +

And obviously I was looking at polo's response above - although I can't understand actually wanting a SLOWER connection for any purpose, but then I'm a guy who types 'chit' instead of 'bit' so what do I know?

@garion you need an even faster download speed, that way when you write chit you'll be able to correct the mistake before you even made it, the down side is it would cause a rift in the space/time continum and wap would inplode on its self then be replaced by something even more chit * +

3G as i use my phone to text, talk, browse, email n download. if a person just talks n text then 2G be enough for them really * +
