Av also got kinda the same prob my wifes dad is a taxi driver and found a n97 being the good guy he is he handed in to the police he forgot cant it till last week when he got a letter saying that no one had claimed it and he could claim it but it is imei locked or blocked voda cs say it will be ok if i get it unlocked but dont wan2 waste 15 quid in card it dont work any 1 been in this situation b4 * +

Tell him 2 take it 2 one of his local market pakistani mobile phone stores, they wil do it if he shows them the letter frm police etc, some wil do it anyway for an extra fiver or so. * +

If i found a phone id hand it in 2 the police never the less i wouldnt feel comfortable keeping a phone that wasnt mine. My bro lost a phone and had it blocked but wasnt happy as he lost all his videos and songs * +
