can anyone help please? I recently re-newed my contract on o2 with the carphone warehouse and got an asus x5 as a gift. The sales person told me the machine had a dvd re writer and intel celetron 1.2ghz duo core processor, both of which are lies but sold the deal for me. I was also told that i hadnt accepted the contract unless i turned the machine on. Turns out by opening the box i've accepted.. *

... The contract which was obviously another lie on his part. I'd like to know if there is anything i can do about this as i feel outraged by such shady sales practices. Any advice please? Thanks in advance... *

contact Ofcom and never go to 3rd party retailers such as carphone warehouse or phones4u UNLESS u really really know what your doing n organised. carphone warehouse offer deals involving TVs, consoles n laptops simply cause the phone that comes with the deal is cr*p n low value *

another thing is that they can argue its a free gift n not sold u it... u need to be very careful what u are doing... i always try to cover all the corners in any negotiations with any contracts... from fair usage to roll over contract months n also warranty procedures... its always good to take someone like myself with u to upgrade or start a contract... *
