Pple on contract like me get there phone free but when sighn up n get ya paper work they give ur reciete for phone wid the price it wuda cost them. In my case blackberry 8900 (167pound) yet pay n go nearly 400pound. Just bloke told me all networks buy magority of phones abroad in bulk cheap then charge more or less what they like. What a rippoff no wander ppl turn to contract cus the amount of money u save over the yrs. ! * +

yeap ive just had that, t-mobile i use there 20 swap for 300 min and unlimited tex for ages, phone died, just bought new one topped up the 20 pound to do the addon/bolt on and they no longer do it. now got pone thats useless to me, too new to be unlocked the codes aint been released, had to get another on o2 and use there postcode tarriff to get close to the same deal, pay and go is getting stupid * +

Mr wizard that's my point. I came of pay n go cuz all ya m8s n family change network for other reasons I was paying 40pound a month that's without buying budget phones. Now I only spend 30a month n get a brand new phone of ya choice every 2yrs I'm saving 240pound over them 2yrs without buying 4or5 budget phones in that time !! * +

That 20quid swop thing was a louzy deal anyway. If your on the unlimitd text/web deal. U cud top up 15quid and buy 250mins. So 5quid less gives u unlimitd texts 3gb of web. And only 50 less than the what youd be getting on the 20quid deal * +

@greggie i know mate but i make a lot of calls than text, now on the postcode tarriff on o2 i topup 15 get 1000 min and use the 15 to buy a tex bolt on so ive ended up better amd t-moble just lost a 5 year long customer * +
