Subject: Reboot 'loop' prob

I had posted this topic in the ericsson forum, but I don't think there's any life there lol. Anyway briefly, when rebooting the phone,it's been going into a reset 'loop'. Thankfully it came back on overnight. What's the best course of action? Do a master reset? Cheers. * +

Clear ur data counters in settings, calls, time and cost then go to ur phones main browser and clear ur cookies etc then clear ur browsing history. That should help, as long as you do it regularly. * +

Ok but just to add, prior to that it's been rather sluggish on start-up, that's with mem card removed also. And don't have any files stored in the phones internal memory either. * +

Did all that. Same thing has happened again. Oh dear, I'm afraid I can't be doing with waiting for the phone to switch itself back on every 8 hours. Master reset coming up this evening whenever that may be. * +

it's an ericsson w595. it has made a difference so far - much faster rebooting properly. only thing i have to do is try figure out now is how to reinstall the apps and games on the memory card if possible? * +

Were the apps etc already on the memory card? If yeah then download moby explorer and change the properties of ur system file so that there not hidden then you can reinstall from there * +

yeah they were on mem card. d/loaded mobyexplorer. the apps and game folders never appear in any file manager - (protected possibly?) anyway, selected the system folder and unmarked the properties to unhide. nothing happened. thinking maybe it's not possible... * +
