Had a play with my mates iphone other night and admit i was impressed. But my contracts up in 6months and looking around cannot see much better phones? Tbh ive got a tocco and for 30 quid a month not much else better either. * +

avoid windows mobiles they are rubbish . htc android phones are the only real competition for the iphone . * +

Go instore and check out the alternatives but to be honest you can not get a good idea of whether a handset is for you u til you have had it for a few days. Try see if your other friends have alternate phones. I recommend iPhone because it works well for the purposes that I use it for. N900 is a good alternate if you are I to Linux and want to try development apps etc. Symbian is good too but the * +

newer handsets narrows are crippled by ram so I would recommend an eseries over nseries. You see, you have plenty of options and choices. * +
