Hey guys, i havent been on here for a while but i thought this woul d be the best place to ask.. Im purchasing a new phone tomorrow, nothing to fancy, however i want a sim where i can top up a set amount a month and get unlimited txts, internet and preferably calls. Whats the best network to try other than orange. I know o2 do something similar. What package is it called? Thanks in advance :) * +

think firstly youve got to see if u get a gud enuf signal where u live. nowt more frustrating than struggling to connect to the internet. tmob do free unlimitd texts and unlimitd web (3gb) for topping up 10quid or more. and if u top up 15quid every month u have option of buying a 250 min any net add on with ya 15quid credit * +

I'd go for o2's Text and Web tariff to begin with, that gives you 500mb of internet and unlimited texts free with a 15 pound top-up and you can use that credit to buy calling bolt-ons (50 xnet minutes and 100 landline minutes for 13 pounds). You have to activate this tariff by 31st January to get unlimited texts. Failing that then 3 (3G phones only) and T-mobile also have great deals for internet and texts. * +

do u think the 31st of jan is a real genuine deadline on that new text n web plan? They already extended it... I guess we'll find out soon... Ive switched to that already * +

3 is the cheapest but why would people need so much text ulot need to talk more something people use to do here in the UK years back and people in other countries still do now all this text stuff make people in the UK become antisocial * +

Go on o2 unlimited then get a web browser bolt on? For 15 quid you get unlimited calls and txts to other o2 phones, thats just for topping up 15 quid, doesn't actualy take 15 quid off you, then pay 7.50 for the bolt on and get unlimited internet, so that only uses 7.50 a month and you have another 7.50 to do what you want with, and you got unlimited calls and txts to o2 numbers and unlimited wap! * +

t-mobiles doing unlimited texts and internet for just 10 pound a month but you have to activate a new sim before 28.02.10 * +

You have to remember that the unlimited net for 7.50 is not unlimited, its 500meg. Ok if your just browsing but if your going to be downloading then 500meg can run out pretty quick. If you top up 10 pound with 3 you get 5000 3 to 3 minutes, 300 any network texts and 150 meg internet and you still have your 10 to spend on what you want.
