What kinda phone are you using? If you are using Opera Mini 4.2 your phone must be a JSR-75 enabled phone. * +

Your phone can upload. When you've logged on to facebook mobile click on to access main site CLICK HERE, click on profile, then click on photos, click on the album you want to add photos to and then click add more photos or creat a new album if you don't have any one. The upload page is going to come up, on this page click on try simpler uploader select the file you want to upload from your phone memory then tick the check box that says you own the photo and then click upload photo.
