Hi can any1 help me ive got a samsung F700v ive js lost my settings 4 gmail ive managed 2 get dem bak but cant send emails it says DNS failed * +

A DNS error is unusual when trying to access pop3, and may be more to do with your network settings than the Gmail settings. On some phones the pop3 setup includes a section for defining the networ APN etc. but I'm not sure how the Samsung is setup. K thanx but dis is wat happens on my sendin options ive got a server option from and wen i put in my email address it says DNS failed and wen i put in smtp.gmail.com it says no response * +

Well the outgoing server SHOULD be smtp.gmail.com, so that's right - your email address has to be in there too, usually under 'email address' and of course you need the incoming server specified as: pop.gmail.com as I said before, there may be some settings specific to your network, I'm not sure of the Samsung pop3 layout. * +

Disable the DNS settings on your security settings and to do that you will need a secondary pin code which your network provider has than you will have gate way to gmail * +
