I'd just like to know if this is happening to anyone else. I usually have a constant 'H' showing on the top bar (obviously this changes when HSDPA isn't available) but over the last two days it's stayed on '3G' whilst idle, and only changes to an 'H' when actually loading a site or downloading. After 3 seconds it reverts back to '3G'. This isn't causing any performance problems but * +

I've had the constant 'H' for over a year. It's not my device as I restored a backup from 2 days before this started - anyone else getting this? Ringing Orange customer 'services' would be the ultimate exercise in futility for something of this nature. * +

Thanks @stroller - it's only happened for the last week, and HSDPA is there the moment I need it (the 3G is showing as I write, but as soon as I hit 'post' it'll change to an H) so it's no problem, just that the H has always been permanent before, now it defaults to 3G and it looks kinda messy and SO last year.. :) * +

Thanks crail bro, I wasn't aware of that, I've had a constant 'H' if I'm connected since I first put the sim in exactly a year ago, so assumed it was Orange weirdness. I haven't upgraded to 6.5 @stroller as I've got over 70 .cab games and I don't want them to stop working for the dubious benefits of threaded sms or whatever - I see lots of 'doesn't work on 6.5' posts. *
